Your Nokia Home™ allows you to check the air quality of the room by indicating the level of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). VOCs are a large group of carbon-based chemicals that easily evaporate at room temperature. They are a good indicator of the air quality and the ventilation of the room.

  • 450 - 1,000 ppm: Good
  • 1,000 - 2,000 ppm: Medium
  • 2,000 - 3,000 ppm: Bad
  • > 3,000 ppm: Very bad

The Nokia Home™ is not a carbon monoxide detector, and does not provide alerts or warnings about hazardous levels of carbon monoxide.

It takes 48 hours for the Nokia Home™ to finish calibrating its environmental sensors, but you can still view the VOC levels during that time.
